MisGod'ed by Laurence B. Brown

Paperback: 312 pages
Condition: Brand new
Price: $10.00
Availability: in stock

Book description from the back: The current political climate is one of fear- fear of the unfamiliar and fear of violence in the name of God. The clash of these situations begs our attention and demands rectification. As in introduction to comparative religion and as a metaphor for peace, author and physician Laurence B. Brown follows his historical and religious thriller, The Eighth Scroll, with this theological tsunami, in which he analyzes the scriptural foundations of the three Abrahamic faiths of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This is not a, "My religion is okay, your religion is okay" book, but a full-speed-ahead, take no prisoners search for absolute and uncompromising religious truth.

Now more than ever, Dr. Brown's message is not only relevant, but necessary. Drawing out similarities and cognitive distinctions, he identifies valid links in the chain of revelation while differentiating the truth of God's guidance from the falsehood of human corruption. For all who have ever questioned the theological puzzles parroted down to them by well-meaning family or seemingly sincere but single minded clergy, this book is a roadmap of guidance and misguidance in the Abrahamic faiths: the quest, and most of all, the answers.

God'ed? by Laurence B. Brown

Paperback: 263 pages
Condition: Brand new
Price: $10.00
Availability: in stock

About the author: http://drlbb.com/?page_id=1726

Book description from the back: Following the first book in this series- the theological tsunami, MisGod'ed- author, religious scholar and medical doctor Laurence B. Brown provides a compelling argument in God'ed? The Case for Islam as the Completion of Revelation. Sifting through Judaism, Christianity and Islam for truth in revelation, we find such accurate, consistent and undeniable parallels as to conclude that revelation did not end with Moses or Jesus and that both Old and New Testaments predicted a final prophet to follow Jesus.

Could Mohammad be this foretold final prophet? And could the revelation be conveyed, the holy book of Islam, the Quran, be God's "Final Testament"? Picking up where MisGod'ed left off, God'ed analyzes these critical questions, and many more, in scrupulous detail, arguing the case for Islam as the completion of God's revelation to humankind. In the process, these two books provide essential insights into religion, revelation, and what God bids humankind to do to achieve salvation.
